Man Utd considers a BLOCKBUSTER swap deal featuring Victor Osimhen and Marcus Rashford to solve their striker crisis amidst relegation battle concerns! ⚽

It comes after Rashford rejected the chance to become the highest-paid English player ever.

MARCUS RASHFORD is reportedly at the heart of a sensational swap deal with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

The £60million-rated Manchester United star has turned down three lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia — each worth up to £675,000 per week — as he remains focused on reclaiming his spot in the England squad.

A move to another European club could offer Marcus Rashford the stage he needs to revive his career, with Napoli’s Antonio Conte reportedly eyeing a deal for the unsettled Manchester United forward.

United manager Ruben Amorim, under pressure to bolster his squad, is keen to seize the opportunity created by Conte’s interest in Rashford, 27. This could pave the way for United to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

The Nigerian forward, who has a £62m release clause, is currently on loan at Galatasaray but could make a switch to Old Trafford this month. Osimhen boasts an impressive record, scoring 65 goals in 108 Serie A appearances for Napoli since his move from Lille in 2020.

Ruben Amorim is reportedly eager to reunite with Sporting Lisbon forward Viktor Gyökeres but has committed to not signing players from his former club until at least the summer.

The Portuguese manager is struggling with a lack of goalscorers, having dropped Marcus Rashford due to concerns over his “standards” ahead of United’s 2-1 Premier League derby victory against Manchester City on December 15.

Rashford has since been sidelined for five consecutive games, even as United endure a rough patch with three straight league defeats, leaving them languishing in 14th place and flirting with a relegation battle.

Meanwhile, the forward has turned down record-breaking offers from Saudi Arabian clubs that would more than double his £315,000 weekly wage to an eye-watering £675,000, preferring to focus on his career in Europe.

Rashford has been out of favour under manager Ruben Amorim in recent weeks

Catching the eye of the new England boss Thomas Tuchel is a priority for the 60-cap forward, who has not played international football since March.

Despite saying in December he is ready for “a new challenge”, it is understood he has not ruled out staying at Old Trafford where he is under contract until 2028.

The club could do with a big windfall for homegrown Rashford as they look to comply with Profit and Sustainability Rules and give Amorim funds to reshape the squad.

United held interest in Osimhen last summer, while moves to Chelsea and Saudi fell through.

That £35m-a-year offer is almost 70 per cent more than the £400,000 a week that England skipper Harry Kane, 31, earns at Bayern Munich.

Three Saudi clubs have made offers.

Victor Osimhen’s exile under Antonio Conte at Napoli saw him loaned to Galatasaray, but Napoli remains second in Serie A, with Rashford’s former Manchester United teammates Romelu Lukaku and Scott McTominay playing key roles at the club.

Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford is actively pursuing a move this January, with SunSport reporting that he is in discussions with sports agency Stellar to facilitate the transfer. The agency could collaborate with Rashford’s brother, Dwaine Maynard, to negotiate a deal.

However, Bayern Munich has already declined an agreement with Rashford, and Juventus has been deterred by his wages, shifting their attention to United’s Joshua Zirkzee, who they aim to sign on loan.
