David Beckham enjoyed a tranquil Sunday morning at his £10 million countryside home in the Cotswolds, spending quality time with his four dogs. The former footballer, 49, took a leisurely walk around his lake, donning a baker boy cap and a tweed brown jacket. He shared a selfie on Instagram, humorously noting the challenge of getting all four dogs to pose together, likening it to getting his kids to smile for a photo.
In his post, he wrote, “Good Morning! I think Spring might just be here,” capturing the essence of a peaceful morning in nature. Beckham frequently shares glimpses of his life in the countryside since retiring from football over a decade ago, including caring for chickens and other family activities.
In a recent interview with Men’s Health UK, David also opened up about his and Victoria’s joint workout routines, revealing they exercise together five to six times a week. He playfully mentioned that they often give each other “plenty of grief” during workouts, with Victoria sometimes not adhering strictly to their trainer’s rest recommendations.
Reflecting on his athletic career, Beckham discussed a serious back injury he sustained while playing for LA Galaxy in 2011, which ultimately contributed to his retirement in 2013. Despite the challenges, he mentioned that his body feels better now than it has in a long time, thanks to a combination of workouts and activities like playing padel three times a week.
David and Victoria Beckham have been married since 1999 and share four children: Harper, 13, Brooklyn, 25, Cruz, 19, and Romeo, 22. Their family life continues to thrive as they balance fitness, work, and personal interests in their beautiful countryside home.
