Wayne Robinson departed from Plymouth Argyle in December to embark on a new career in Dubai.

Now enjoying the warm weather during the February half-term holiday, the former Manchester United player is among several ex-professionals making the most of their time in the sun.

He has joined Football Escapes as a coach, where he teaches young children at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai. As part of Football Escapes’ family vacation package, kids have the opportunity to train with former stars like Rooney, Michael Owen, and Mark Noble.

On the first day, Rooney, dressed in a Football Escapes shirt, guided a group of eager young players while proud parents looked on, capturing the moments on video.
