The majority of Saudi clubs’ international football players participated in the Kingdom’s National Day festivities. Under the theme “We Dream and Achieve,” the majority of the Saudi clubs’ international football players took part in the Kingdom’s 93rd National Day on Saturday, September 23.

On this National Day, Al-Hilal was one of the Saudi clubs to show its appreciation and happiness by releasing a video clip that was much praised.

Al-Hilal players, led by Brazilian football sensation Neymar da Silva Santos Junior, are shown dancing the Ardha while brandishing swords in a social media video. They are dressed in traditional Saudi garb, known as “Thobe,” and a headscarf, known as “shemagh.”

Karim Benzema, a Frenchman of Algerian descent who plays for Al Ittihad, shared a photo of himself on Instagram on Saturday. He was dressed in a white thobe and a bisht, which is a cloak worn over the thobe. In addition, he covered his head with a red and white Saudi shemagh.
