The Denver Nuggets faced a tough 126-121 defeat against the Sixers on Tuesday night in South Philadelphia.
Despite the loss, Nikola Jokic and his teammates kept their spirits high as they made their way to McGillin’s, Philadelphia’s oldest continuously running pub located in Center City, for some post-game refreshments.
Manager Rene Rodriguez shared that after midnight, guard Collin Gillespie, a former Villanova standout now with the Nuggets, arrived and requested to have a few tables pushed together for the team. Shortly after, Jokic joined him, accompanied by several other players and assistant coaches.
As it was Tuesday, McGillin’s wing night, the Nuggets ordered fifty wings along with a couple of Bud Lights, enjoying a relaxed evening despite the earlier setback.
