Neymar has sparked speculation about a reunion with former Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez while he promotes a new commercial alongside them. The Al Hilal forward hinted at the possibility of reuniting at Inter Miami, where Messi currently plays.
In a promotional event for Konami’s E-Football, Neymar, along with virtual avatars of the legendary “MSN” trio, reminisced about their time together, expressing, “I wish I was there too.” The formidable trio scored an impressive 364 goals and provided 173 assists during their Barcelona tenure from 2014 to 2017, culminating in a treble win in the 2014–15 season.
Neymar briefly reconnected with Messi in 2021 when the Argentine moved to Paris, but both have since departed the French club—Messi for Inter Miami in 2023 and Neymar for Al Hilal. Neymar has openly stated his desire to play alongside Messi again, saying, “I would love to play in the United States, at least for a season.”
Reflecting on his time at PSG, Neymar expressed mixed feelings about the year he had, acknowledging both triumphs and disappointments, particularly regarding the missed opportunity to reunite with Messi. “We were there to make history, but unfortunately, we couldn’t achieve that,” he lamented.
As interest grows around a potential reunion, fans are left wondering if the stars will align for Neymar, Messi, and Suarez to share the pitch once more.
