🚨🚨 Liverpool Set to Make a Bold Move for Real Madrid’s Aurelien Tchouameni as Club Prepares for Sale

Reports indicate that Liverpool is “willing” to invest significantly in their second attempt to sign French midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, as Real Madrid appears ready to part ways with him for the right price.

Liverpool attempted to sign Tchouameni in the summer of 2022 while he was still with Monaco, but the player had his heart set on joining Real Madrid, despite the Reds’ interest.

In an interview with Le Parisien, he stated, “As soon as Liverpool showed interest, we discussed it, but once Real Madrid came into the picture, I made my decision.” He added, “I didn’t think twice about it. I told my agent, ‘Take me to Real Madrid.’”

Now, three years after that agreement, several Spanish news outlets report that Real Madrid has agreed to allow Tchouameni to join Liverpool in the summer of 2025.

Reports suggest that Real Madrid “wouldn’t mind selling him if a strong offer comes in” and have “indicated that Tchouameni could be on the move.” The asking price is said to be around €80 million, approximately £66.7 million or $89 million.

Liverpool, however, is rumored to be prepared to invest heavily in him.

The possibility of Tchouameni joining Liverpool seems likely. The club tried to bolster their midfield last summer but missed out on their primary target, Martin Zubimendi.

Some sources indicate that the standout player from Real Sociedad may return to the market in January, especially following Rodri’s surgery that has sidelined him for the season.

Opting for Tchouameni over Zubimendi, who is particularly strong in a deep-lying role, might not be the best choice.

It’s important to note, though, that Fichajes is not widely regarded as a reliable source for transfer news.

There may be reasons behind Real Madrid’s potential decision to sell Tchouameni, according to reports. With Luka Modric’s contract set to expire at the end of the season, he may also be moving on at 39 years old. Meanwhile, Toni Kroos has already retired from football this past summer.

Liverpool boosted as Real Madrid open to offers for Aurelien Tchouameni

In September, transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano deemed Tchouameni’s desire to leave Real Madrid as unwise.

“Now that the summer transfer window has closed, everyone seems eager to discuss Tchouameni, and these rumors started in England,” Romano mentioned on his program, Here We Go. “There’s been a lot of speculation linking him to Liverpool and Arsenal for 2025.”

He continued, “I want to clarify that for 2024, 2025, 2026, or any other year, Aurelien Tchouameni wants to stay at Real Madrid.”

“They see him as a crucial player for their project, both now and in the future. They truly value Tchouameni as both a worker and a player.”

Tchouameni was acquired by Real Madrid for €80 million, and Carlo Ancelotti immediately made extensive use of him. In his first season, he not only started 33 games but also made 17 appearances as a backup. He didn’t score in those games, and his performance declined as the season progressed. Nonetheless, he assisted in goals against Espanyol (both at home and away), Cadiz, and Atletico Madrid.

In the UEFA Super Cup, he played his first match and won his first championship with Real Madrid. At the end of the season, they would win the Copa del Rey and the FIFA Club World Cup.
