Rodri celebrated his Ballon d’Or win in style when he got back to Manchester last week.
Rodri is proud to be the first City player to win the Ballon d’Or.
The midfield player recently returned to England for a special celebration with supporters at the Etihad Stadium, but he is currently recovering from a knee injury and spending most of his time in Spain. During his visit to the CFA, we took the opportunity to dress the world’s top player in exquisite formal attire, fitting for such a prestigious honor.
After an outstanding season both domestically and internationally, a panel of journalists from the 100 top-ranked countries recognized him as the world’s finest player. He accepted the award at a lavish ceremony in Paris in October. His pivotal role in securing Manchester City’s historic fourth consecutive Premier League title in the 2023–2024 season, along with his exceptional performances that led Spain to victory in Euro 2024, earned him the title of Player of the Tournament.
As he focuses on rehabilitating and getting back into shape, the 28-year-old has also taken time to reflect on his significant achievements over the past year.
