I am not a psychic, but I am sure that Arsenal will get a great striker in 2025. They can’t keep having trouble scoring goals.
Havertz hasn’t given Mikel Arteta’s team what it wants: score goals. He hasn’t been that much better than Gabriel Jesus, which is a shame.
The Gunners need a scorer who can lead them to victory and score goals every time they get the chance. They need a striker who can stay up front and make it hard for the other team’s defense.
So, which striker is this? A lot of people think that scorer is Viktor Gyokeres, who has scored 23 goals for Sporting CP.
Well, F365 asked former Arsenal striker Jeremie Aliadiere if, like many Arsenal fans, he thinks Gyokeres is the attacker that his old team wants.
You’d think he’d go on and on about how great it would be for Arsenal if Gyokeres signed, but instead he told them to think about someone else.
He said that Arsenal should take a look at Darwin Nunez and feel free to steal him from Liverpool.
According to Aliedere, Arsenal was reportedly interested in getting the Uruguayan player in the summer. He was excited about the possible move, but it never came together.
“I know Darwin Nunez plays for Liverpool, but I love him so much,” he said. “Absolutely crazy fan of the guy because I love how hard he works, how he runs, and how determined he is.” I wish Arsenal had a player like him. I remember that people talked about him coming in the summer. That made me happy because I want to see him with us.
“That kind of player keeps making runs in behind the defense, which makes it hard for them to cover.” It’s not for him; it’s for the team, and the other people get huge benefits from it. Some people say he needs five chances to score; he’s not the best at finishing. These things don’t bother me. It’s worth it to me that he puts in the work and keeps things interesting.
Most Gooners will not understand why Arsenal might be interested in getting Nunez. The Red hasn’t been able to play like he did at Benfica at the Emirates.
In the summer of 2022, Liverpool beat out many other Premier League teams to sign Nunez. He had just finished a great league season in which he scored 26 goals in 28 games.
He has scored 11 goals in a single Liverpool league season the most in the last two years.
Some might say he’s not the answer to Arsenal’s problems in attack, but others might say he’s a player with so much promise that he could reach his full potential in the right setting.
Mikel Arteta is known for bringing players like Nunez back to life, as shown by the signings of Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz. We will have to wait and see if he chooses Nunez as his next player to bring back to life.
