Alejandro Garnacho was a frustrating figure to watch in Man United’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea, especially in the second half.
He missed a few golden opportunities to score and lacked that clinical edge in the opponents’ final third.
He always a threat but wasted some great chances.
In the 78th minute, Garnacho went forward with the ball and had Rasmus Hojlund beside him in a great goal-scoring area.
But he opted to take the shot himself. This infuriated Hojlund, who shouted at him for not finding him in a prime area.
Seven minutes later, the Argentine winger was involved in another heated moment with a teammate.
He gave the ball away in the Chelsea half after failing to play Noussair Mazraoui through on the left.
Garnacho didn’t even try to cover for the full-back, not showing enough energy in tracking back and that left Casemiro to make a foul and get booked.
The experienced midfielder was seen shouting at Garnacho for not doing his job properly and forcing him to get a yellow card.
