A police officer gave Marcus Rashford a yellow card after he met up with a Manchester United teammate for lunch.
Last season, the 26-year-old forward scored 32 goals across all games, which was the most in his career and made him the club’s top scorer. However, he has been out of sorts this season.
He has only scored three goals for the Red Devils this season across all tournaments, and it looks like his bad luck is following him off the field as well.
Rashford went to the Juniper Restaurant in Wilmslow, Cheshire, on Wednesday afternoon to meet Tyrell Malacia, yet another United player.
The English player didn’t realize he had left his £280,000 McLaren 765 Long Tail racing car parked on double yellow lines outside the business.
However, a warden caught him in just 15 minutes by issuing a £60 parking citation for the star’s 205 mph vehicle.
Rashford was in for a nasty surprise when he returned to his car around an hour later.
He is neither the first nor the last Manchester football player to be shown two yellow cards in a short period of time.
After getting a parking ticket in August, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola had a humorous encounter with a traffic officer.
