The Ligue 1 champions signed Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt for £76.4 million in September 2023. Muani can play anywhere in the front line, and both he and his boss, Luis Enrique, are thought to be open to moving to the Premier League.
The Frenchman, worth £70 million, would fit right in with Arsenal’s system. He is athletic enough to do well on the wing but could also compete with Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus for the center-forward slot.
What would Arsenal get from Kolo Muani?
Kolo Muani moves quickly. The 25-year-old is in the top 6% of forwards in Europe’s top five leagues for good take-on and the top 17% for shot-creating actions per 90, according to FBref. This shows how dynamic he is and how he would bring those skills to north London.

Kolo Muani has only started two games in the French Premier League this season, so it’s clear that Enrique doesn’t like him. However, with two goals to his name, he will be confident in his ability to play well in the Premier League with Arsenal.
He only scored nine goals and set up six others for Parisiens in all competitions last season, showing that he is still getting used to living in the French capital. However, his crazy form in Germany the previous season, where he scored 23 goals and set up 17 others, shows that Arsenal could add that kind of play to their own.
Martinelli isn’t showing that level of strength at Arsenal, even though he’s been given plenty of chances to do so from the start. Also, Kolo Muani has been in great shape. Over the past five years, Martinelli has been very helpful to Arsenal, but his level of play doesn’t seem to match Arteta’s vision. With Raheem Sterling and Leandro Trossard both looking for regular starting spots, it might be time to let him go.
