Lionel Messi, his wife Antonela Roccuzzo, and their three kids, as well as Luis Suarez’s family, have shared more trophy joy at Inter Miami.

The 2024 season was a great and historic one for the Herons. The team led by Tata Martino won the Supporters’ Shield, which makes them the No. 1 seed in the MLS playoffs. A new high point total for a single season has been put in the record books.

Messi has been an important player for Inter Miami when he’s healthy, scoring 22 goals in all categories. Along with him, Suarez, a former superstar player for Barcelona, has scored 20 goals. It is expected that he will agree to extend his one-year deal in Florida.

For now, Messi and Suarez are enjoying another trophy win. Their families were asked to join the celebrations as Inter Miami brought the Supporters’ Shield back to Miami. Antonela was on the field with his kids Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro. Suarez was there with his partner Sofia Balbi and their three kids, Dolores, Benjamin, and Laia.

Even though Inter Miami has enjoyed winning more big awards, everyone at Chase Stadium is about to turn their attention to winning the MLS Cup. They are set to play their first playoff game on October 25 against either Montreal or Atlanta United.
