WHAT CURTIS JONES SAID

“I never dive,” he said to Sky Sports. I went down after feeling the contact, and it was a penalty.”

Regarding his objective, Jones continued, “There have been occasions when I have entered the box and finished for the first time. I made the run as soon as Mo [Salah] got the ball, but it bounced, so I had to touch it before it fortunately went in.”

Jones’ performance played a major role in Liverpool’s victory and their continued dominance of the Premier League. Although he has had difficulty securing a regular position in the Reds’ starting lineup, efforts such as these will undoubtedly aid him in his quest for that objective.
