The new, bigger 2025 Club World Cup will have more teams, which is what FIFA, global TV bosses and Lionel Messi fans all wanted. Inter Miami was the 31st of 32 teams to confirm their spot in the event on Saturday night. They will play in the first game on June 15 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

Every summer, the Club World Cup is held in 12 different cities across the United States. The final is set for July 13 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The reason FIFA picked Inter Miami as the host country’s representative was because they won the 2024 MLS Supporters’ Shield for having the best record in the 34-game regular season.
