And while the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is now aiming to be the first in history to reach 1,000 goals, he is also keeping an eye on his son’s fledgling career.
Cristiano Jr., 14, has promised to play with his father in the beautiful game and hopes to follow in his father’s footsteps.
He has one of the most motivated athletes behind him, and he trains as well.
Earlier this month, a video appeared on social media featuring Ronaldo observing an Al-Nassr academy training session from the sidelines.
He was later seen sitting down during the session.
Reacting to the clip, one fan said: “Imagine your game being watched by the best player of all time.”
A second said: “He’s going to make a good coach.”
A third added: “That’s a father and a legend.”
Another said: “Like son like father.”
A fifth said: “I would drop a 12/10 performance that day If I was in any of those teams.”
Former player Ronaldo of Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus disclosed that after playing padel against each other, his kid would occasionally stop talking to him for days.
During the international break, Ronaldo returned to action for Portugal, scoring in their 3-1 victory over Poland but failing to provide a winner in their goalless draw with Scotland.
