Dominik Szoboszlai of Liverpool FC has announced his engagement. While his fiancée flashed her ring to the camera, he shared the joyful news with his 2.6 million Instagram followers.

The 23-year-old’s fiancée is Borka Buzsik, a Hungarian influencer. In July of this year, the couple announced their relationship after Hungary’s elimination in the group round of the Euros.

At the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace in Budapest, the Liverpool football player made the proposal. The couple is shown on Instagram standing in front of the camera, with a brightly lit Budapest in the backdrop. “She said yes!” Szoboszlai wrote as the post’s caption. In the comments, friends and fans applauded one another.

Another LFC teammate, Trent Alexander-Arnold, congratulated him. “Congratulations to you both; this is such exciting news,” one user retorted.
