With his game-saving play for Belgium against Italy in the Uefa Nations League on Thursday, Leandro Trossard sent a very strong message.

A red card for Lorenzo Pellegrini in the 38th minute, on the other hand, gave Belgium a chance to win, and they did.
Just before halftime, Maxim De Cuyper scored a goal to tie the game for the visitors. Trossard set up the full-back for Club Brugge with a nicely executed touch.
After the break, Belgium didn’t give up. In the 61st minute, Trossard scored his own goal by poking home a Wout Faes shot from close range.
Since France is also in the same group, this could be a huge win for Belgium in the race to make it to the Nations League Finals.
