A defender for Liverpool FC named Virgil van Dijk recently put money into a performance technology company called WHOOP. Besides that, he will be the face of a worldwide brand.

Van Dijk will play for the Netherlands in Qatar. Since he has officially joined the company, he has begun using WHOOP technology to keep track of and handle his sleep, recovery, and training.

Van Dijk will offer input on product development and be an investor in the business. The future of the WHOOP product will be shaped by this.

 

The center back for Liverpool FC and captain of the Netherlands has joined WHOOP as an ambassador. Sports stars Michael Phelps and Rory McIlroy are on this roster.
