Lisandro Martinez was called up to the Argentina squad for their October World Cup qualifiers.

The centre-back wasn’t the only Manchester United player called up to the Argentina squad, however, Alejandro Garnacho had to withdraw due to a knee injury.

In two qualifying matches, Lionel Scaloni’s team will play Venezuela and Bolivia, and United supporters will be hoping Martinez doesn’t suffer any setbacks.

Ahead of the match against Venezuela, Martinez has uploaded pictures of him linking up with his Argentina teammates, including Lionel Messi.
