Henderson, who currently plays for Ajax, left Anfield in the summer of 2023 after an 11-year tenure during which he nearly reached 500 matches and claimed seven major championships.

 

When the former captain of the Reds visited the AXA Training Centre this week, he was greeted with warmth by both former teammates and present coaching staff.
