Lionel Messi’s kind act won over the internet when he helped a young fan get away from security after the fan broke into the pitch to take a quick selfie.

A young fan jumped over the fences and ran towards Messi on the pitch with his mobile camera on. This happened on Saturday night at Chase Stadium, where Inter Miami was playing Charlotte FC in an MLS game. 

The famous Argentine player saw him early, smiled at the boy, and posed for a selfie with him. At the same time, security quickly ran to the pitch to take him away. When the guards got close, Messi told the boy to run away and even gave him a little push on the back to help him get ahead of them.

At the time, Inter Miami was having a hard time beating a tough Charlotte FC team. They were behind before the hour mark, but Messi’s heroics made sure that Tata Martino’s team had something to show for their hard work before they left the pitch. When Messi scored the goal, he lit up the pitch with a celebration that looked like Iron Man. The crowd went wild with cheers.
