The Inter Miami star wore his hair in a way that no one had seen the Liverpool great wear before during the 1-1 draw. He got rid of his signature style, which was dark hair that he had worn for most of his career. Instead, the 37-year-old showed off a new look with golden blonde hair.

It looks like it’s still kind of a fauxhawk because the sides have a good fade and the top of his head has most of his hair. A lot of Suarez fans who watched were shocked by his new style. He looked very different.

Lionel Messi and Neymar, two friends of Suarez’s at Barcelona in 2016, decided to make a big change to how they looked. They both dyed their hair blonde to mix things up. But when the Brazilian star tried to get Suarez to join them, the striker turned down the offer and dyed his hair too.

Neymar said that Suarez didn’t dye his hair blonde like his other star teammates because he had a more important reason.

Neymar said at the time, “Messi and I tried to get Luis Suarez to dye his hair blonde, but he didn’t want to.” “It was a promise [dying his hair blond] I made my friends I said I would dye my hair blond if I won the gold medal at the Olympic Games.”

In the same way, Messi bleached his hair blonde to break up the routine he was feeling. According to Argentine news source Telefe, the 37-year-old player talked about why he and Neymar both dyed their hair blonde while Suarez kept his black hair.

Messi said at the time, “One really bad day, I chose to dye my hair.” “I had to begin all over again.” I told myself, “I need to start over and make a fresh start.” In the same way, Suarez’s choice to dye his hair blonde could be a sign of a fresh start for the talented scorer as he starts his life after retiring from the Uruguayan national team.

Suarez said earlier in September that he was retired from international football. This ended a part of his life that he had been a part of since 2007. He set a record by scoring 69 goals in 142 games, making him one of the best players in the history of the country.

Suarez told reporters in a tearful press conference, “I leave knowing I gave my all for the national team until Friday.” I don’t feel bad. Knowing when to quit is the best thing about being proud of yourself, and I’m happy to say that I’m sure I’m retiring from the national team because I want to take a break.

“I’m 37 years old, and I know it will be hard to make it to the next World Cup.” It makes me feel a lot better that I can quit and not have to wait for my injuries to stop calling me up or retire me. It helps a lot to want to step back and be ready to do so. It’s hard because the choice wasn’t simple.

“But I sleep well knowing that I gave it my all until the very last game and that the flame didn’t fade slowly. That’s why I decided it should be now.”
