Bukayo Saka has had a good start to the season for Arsenal. This weekend against Leicester, he has the chance to make Premier League history.
The England player has played all five of Arsenal’s Premier League games, but he was taken off at halftime of last weekend’s tie with Manchester City.
The team led by Mikel Arteta has not lost a game this season and is currently in fourth place in the league, two points behind City.
Saka could make history in the Premier League.
At Arsenal, Saka is one of the most important players, and he has done a great job for the team for many years.
Saka has already made a mark for the Gunners this season; the winger has set up a goal in every game so far.
With his help on Gabriel’s header against City, Saka became only the second player in Premier League history to have five assists in the first five games. The other was Thierry Henry, a hero at Arsenal.
Saka has the chance to become the first player in league history to have six assists in the first six games of the season on Saturday afternoon against the Foxes.
Since Leicester is having a bad season and hasn’t won yet, and Arsenal is at home, Saka has to think he has a good chance of making history and beating Henry.
Given how many great players have played in the Premier League over the years, Saka would have to do something pretty amazing to pull it off.
Saka will be focused on making sure Arsenal beat Steve Cooper’s team instead of thinking about individual records. It’s not clear if the winger even knows he has a chance to make history.
