Micah Richards is perplexed by Richarlison’s back tattoo, which features his own face with that of Brazil great Ronaldo and international teammate Neymar.The Tottenham player showed off the tattoo as he removed his jersey to commemorate their Sunday comeback against Liverpool, which saw them come back from three goals behind.Even though he celebrated his first Premier League goal with great vigour, Diogo Jota’s goal for Jurgen Klopp’s team one minute later meant that Spurs lost the match. When Richarlison’s tattoo was brought up for discussion on BBC Five Live’s The Monday Night Club, Richards could be heard giggling in the background. ‘It’s a bit silly that isn’t it?’ Richards said in response to a question concerning his laughter.I’m referring to R9, or Ronaldo, a football legend. Neymar has achieved great success for himself, so why would you get a tattoo of him?He said, “Neymar is an incredible player, but it’s strange that he’s still playing,” in order to clarify his viewpoint. “I mean, I would understand if it was someone who had retired, but Neymar is a teammate.””It feels similar to me obtaining a tattoo of Daniel Sturridge.” I’m not getting a tattoo of him, even though I adore and admire him. He’s a great player. Before Sturridge moved to Chelsea in 2009, Richards was a teammate of his at Man City.  In his enormous back tattoo, Richarlison is depicted as the middle, with Neymar on the right and Ronaldo on the left. In December of last year, he made his Instagram debut by posting footage of tattoo artist @dom.tattoo from the World Cup, in which Brazil lost to Croatia in the quarterfinals.  In an interview with GQ magazine, Richarlison explained his tattoo by saying, “When I first started football, Ronaldo was my hero.”Neymar is a few years ahead of me, but he is of my generation.” I aspired to look like him and play like him.”And then I included myself because I draw inspiration from myself as well.”In addition, a young person with a baseball cap and Richarlison shirt is seen seeing a favela in the tattoo. In 2020, Richarlison received his first tattoo. Over the following three years, he has added more and more to his collection. The Premier League has witnessed a number of startling tattoos in recent years. A number of animated TV and video game characters, such as Super Mario, Rick and Morty, and Stewie from Family Guy, are inked on Everton footballer Dele Alli’s body.In a video, Alli revealed his new sleeve with those characters to teammate Sergio Reguillon when he was still at Tottenham.The star of Manchester United, Jadon Sancho, also got a tattoo of The Simpsons on his bicep to display his love of cartoon characters.
