After Real Madrid star Endrick was shown a yellow card for a collision with Alaves defender Santiago Mourino during their 3-2 victory, Alaves manager Luis Garcia Plaza was not pleased.

After he collided with Santiago Mourino, Real Madrid’s young star Endrick became the centre of controversy during their 3-2 victory over Alaves.

As the two grappled in the penalty area, Endrick seemed to kick out at Mourino and strike him beneath the belt with his knee. After the altercation, the forward was given a yellow card, but Alaves manager Luis Garcia Plaza believed he ought to have been sent off.

Garcia Plaza cried out, “It’s a red card,” following the match. “The final ten minutes ought to have been played against ten men. There is no denying that it is a crimson. This is the purpose of the VAR if the referee failed to see it. Endrick sees it as a red, even though they may have received more yellows than they should have.”

After the final whistle, Garcia Plaza furiously contacted Carlo Ancelotti about the incident; however, the Real Madrid manager stated he had not witnessed the altercation between Endrick and Mourino.

When asked about his contentious conversation with Garcia Plaza, Ancelotti responded, “It was because of Endrick’s action,” to the reporters. “I can’t give my opinion, I didn’t see it, and I haven’t seen a replay.”

In addition, Ancelotti downplayed concerns over Kylian Mbappe, who requested to be substituted late in the match due to a thigh problem. “He’s all right. He hurts a little bit. In order to prevent issues, he requested the substitution, according to Ancelotti.
