Garcia Plaza cried out, “It’s a red card,” following the match. “The final ten minutes ought to have been played against ten men. There is no denying that it is a crimson. This is the purpose of the VAR if the referee failed to see it. Endrick sees it as a red, even though they may have received more yellows than they should have.”

After the final whistle, Garcia Plaza furiously contacted Carlo Ancelotti about the incident; however, the Real Madrid manager stated he had not witnessed the altercation between Endrick and Mourino.

In addition, Ancelotti downplayed concerns over Kylian Mbappe, who requested to be substituted late in the match due to a thigh problem. “He’s all right. He hurts a little bit. In order to prevent issues, he requested the substitution, according to Ancelotti.

“Both he and we are already doing extremely well. The squad has looked for numerous opportunities to score, and I believe they are getting better, which is excellent for us given how rigorous the schedule is. After the break, we’ve got off to a good start, and we want to keep going.”

After going up 3-0 in less than 48 minutes courtesy of goals from Rodrygo, Mbappe, and Lucas Vasquez, Real Madrid did have a late scare as Carlos Benavidez and Kike Garcia scored two goals for Alaves.

Real Madrid was able to maintain their lead, though, and Ancelotti has stated he is not worried about the late goals. That’s how football works. A single error is sufficient to instill confidence in the opposing team,” he stated.

“In football, that is what frequently occurs and will continue to occur. Although it is unlikely, it is still a possibility. We performed quite well in the hour prior.”
