DAVID Beckham paid tribute to his “inspirational” wife Victoria in a touching speech at her 50th birthday celebration.
Posh “welled up” as ex-England football captain Becks heaped praise on his “role model” girlfriend in front of 100 guests, including her fellow Spice Girls.
The 48-year-old father of four also filmed her performing with her bandmates on Saturday night, marking the first time all five are said to have been together since 2018.
Son Cruz, 19, who recently began his music career, performed a version of their 1996 hit Mama at Oswald’s in Mayfair, central London.
Victoria, who had a broken foot, was eventually piggybacked out of the exclusive members’ club by David at 2.30am, and she was one of the last to go.
They climbed into a waiting car with their children, Brooklyn, 25, Cruz, and Harper, 12.
A source stated of the bash, which is thought to have cost approximately £250,000: “David informed the guests that Victoria had always been a tremendous inspiration to him.
“He mentioned what an excellent role model she is and what a wonderful mother she has been. The kids also gave remarks, which were extremely informal, but they expressed their gratitude for everything she had done for them.
The lavish event saw Victoria hosting 40 close friends, including a Spice Girls reunion with Geri Horner, Mel B, Emma Bunton, and Mel C.
The soirée spared no expense with £3,000 bottles of Chateau Mouton Rothschild, £500 champagne bottles, and gourmet cuisine prepared by a private chef on every table.
Daughter Harper wore an elegant cream silk dress and her brothers and dad in black-tie suits.
Guests indulged in champagne, cocktails, and a sumptuous four-course dinner, with Italian-inspired starters and main courses of sea bass and steak.
Birthday girl Victoria was presented with a grand birthday cake, followed by guests hitting the dancefloor.
Prior to hitting the dancing, guests enjoyed steak, sea bass, and Italian-style sharing platters, as well as £500 bottles of bubbly.
Posh, Scary, Sporty, Ginger, and Baby Spice performed a choreography to the 1997 hit Stop, which Victoria published online.
She wrote, “Best night ever! Happy Birthday to Me! I adore you all so much! #SpiceUpYourLife.”
According to sources, the band, which last performed as a five-piece at the 2012 Olympics, was the “life and soul of the party”.
.
One added: “They had to make up for lost time, and they did just that. The girls were having the time of their lives.
Other Hits Wannabe, Say You’ll Be There, and Who Do You Think You Are all appeared on the playlist as A-list guests, including actor Tom Cruise, partied late into the night.
Eva Longoria, Harper’s godmother, and Salma Hayek danced to salsa music alongside Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband, Marc Anthony, Cruz’s godfather.
David and Victoria’s son Romeo, 21, departed at 2 a.m., while Spice Girls Mel C and Emma Bunton went hand in hand following Geri Halliwell.
Mel B posted a video online yesterday, accompanied by her hairdresser fiancé Rory McPhee, with the caption “About last night #tourdatescomingsoon.”
Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz, was unable to attend, but she did share a photo of herself with mother-in-law Victoria.
