Lionel Messi’s wife, Antonella Roccuzzo, celebrated with him after his team won the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar over the weekend. On Saturday at Lusail Stadium, Argentina beat France to win the Cup.

At the event, Roccuzzo hugged Messi while their three boys wore Argentina’s purple World Cup jerseys. She wore the dark violet jersey with a pair of light blue jeans that were worn down and had a pattern of flames and vertical lines. The purple drop earrings that went with her outfit were another theme-based sign of support.

A thin gold bracelet was worn by the model to finish her outfit for the event.

There were light-colored Louis Vuitton shoes that Roccuzzo wore to finish off her look. Her one-of-a-kind leather outfit had a low-top style with pastel pink and white color blocking, and it was decorated with small details of Louis Vuitton’s famous “LV” logo. For the event, they stayed sporty and relaxed, but she added a lovely pop of color to finish off her look.

The FIFA World Cup, or just “the World Cup,” is an international football tournament where the top men’s national teams of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association play. 

Argentina was the winner and got a prize of USD 42 million. The 2022 Cup took place in eight venues in Qatar. These were Al Bayt Stadium, Education City Stadium, Khalifa International Stadium, Al Thumama Stadium, Lusail Stadium, Stadium 974, Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium, Education City Stadium, and Al Janoub Stadium.

A total of 64 games were played by 32 teams. Fahad Al-Kubaisi and Jung Kook of BTS both performed at this year’s opening event. This World Cup is said to be the most expensive ever because $300 billion was spent on it.
