The forward entered the game as a late replacement, but he hardly had any opportunity to influence it.

But it was his teammate Gabriel Magalhaes who scored the winning header in the second half.
While his performance was sufficient to earn him the Man of the Match title, Jesus’ name was inadvertently displayed in the graphic by Sky Sports during the award announcement.
After the game, the broadcaster chatted with Gabriel, but they declined to admit their previous error.
The Brazilian expressed his happiness at the outcome by saying: “It’s significant.”
“I’m so happy, we know it’s a difficult game, it’s a big derby,” he went on. Now that we have triumphed, let’s celebrate.”
Alongside William Saliba, Gabriel was a rock at the back for Arsenal, who only allowed five shots on goal against Tottenham.
