In the first half of the North London game, chaos broke out when Jurrien Timber and Guglielmo Vicario got into a fight.
There was a fight by the goal line between players from both teams after Timber made a careless move and the Spurs custodian slammed into him.
As always, there were heated arguments and drama on the pitch during the North London game, and Timber made sure that this one was no different.
The Dutchman challenged Pedro Porro to a 50/50 ball, but his foot slid on top of the ball, forcing Jarred Gillett to show him a yellow card.
But Timber had other plans. He kept going with the ball in his hands until he got to the line next to Vicario’s goal.
The Spurs custodian didn’t like what he saw from Timber and talked to his Arsenal rival about it.
When asked a question, the flexible Gunners full-back didn’t like it and grabbed Vicario’s shirt around the collar with both hands.
The fight made players from both teams react, and they both rushed to help their teammates.
Thank goodness it didn’t get much worse than some angry words before referee Gillett could calm things down.
In the end, the Australian referee gave Timber a yellow card for his hit and Vicario another one for being rude to the Dutchman.
As the first half went on, Gillett wasn’t afraid to pull out his pocket watch and hand out SEVEN yellow cards.
That was the same as the Premier League record for all time.
The first half of the football game was pretty even, which may have been a surprise given how few players Arsenal had in the middle of the field.
Before halftime, neither team was able to break the tie. This made the second half very important for North London’s pride.
And Arsenal won, even though they had a team with a lot of injuries.
Tall central defender The only goal of the game was scored by Gabriel, who jumped above everyone else to nod the ball home.
It was hard for the Gunners to get the 1-0 win since Martin Odegaard, Declan Rice, Riccardo Calafiori, and Mikel Merino were all out.
