POOR DECISIONS: Fans SLAM Mohamed Salah for a ‘BIZARRE’ Performance and ‘HORRENDOUS’ Decision-Making in Liverpool’s Clash Against Nottingham Forest!

Liverpool’s match versus Nottingham Forest was a day to forget.

The Reds’ season-opening loss at home against Nuno Espirito Santo’s Tricky Trees resulted in their first points being surrendered.

Arne Slot’s team was clearly the favourite to win, but they were unable to take advantage of any opportunities until Callum Hudson-Odoi’s goal in the 72nd minute cemented the outcome.

Even if none of Liverpool’s players particularly stood out tonight, one player received more criticism than the others.

Mo Salah, the winger, was unable to duplicate his previous performance today after having a great game against Manchester United the previous time around. The Egyptian sensation delivered a lacklustre effort and made no meaningful contributions.

Mohamed hasn’t played very well tonight; rather than crossing the ball, he attempted to take a shot at a sharp angle in the 76th minute. Following this, Salah appears to have lost the patience of Liverpool fans:

“We love Mo Salah, but some of his decision-making in the final third has been awful this afternoon,” the first commenter stated.

“Salah, you have three men at the back post and you’re taking a shot from that angle,” the second supporter says.

“This has been one of his worst games by far, he’s being too selfish,” says another.

“He needed to be subbed off a long time ago,” remarks the fourth person. Fortunately for him, there was no one else available.

After the final whistle, Premier Sports analyst and former Crystal Palace defender Damien Delaney discussed Salah, pointing out the 32-year-old’s lack of talent in the last third of the game.

After watching the winger’s best plays, he remarked, “His decision-making was poor today.”

“That package [of highlights] could have continued for another thirty seconds, given how frequently he gave the ball away coming inside and a few misplaced passes.”

Salah’s Liverpool contract is coming to an end this year. In January, the forward will be able to speak with clubs outside of England about a pre-contract if an agreement cannot be reached to extend his terms.

He is still strongly connected to a high-profile and profitable move to the Saudi Pro League.
