A picture of Lionel Messi house hunting in Miami with his wife Antonella Roccuzzo has been made public.
The 36-year-old Argentine star just moved for free to David Beckham’s Major League Soccer team Inter Miami.
And he’s off to a great start on the field, getting three goals in his first two games.
One of them was a free kick in extra time on his debut.
He now wants to improve his life off the pitch as he looks for another place to live in the southeast state.
He is said to already own FOUR homes on Miami Beach worth a total of £15 million.
But he has been seen looking at some new homes where he could live while he is with the American group.
The famous Barcelona player was seen with his partner Antonella and one of his kids. The son was wearing an Inter Miami shirt that said “Messi 10” on the back of it.
The house he saw had a putting green on the roof.
A man was seen taking a look at the raised golf area while Messi watched.
“In the prestigious Boca Raton region that sits an hour to the north of Miami but only 25 minutes from DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale,” says Goal about the house.
The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner was full of smiles as he and his family got back into their car after the show.
Since Messi left Paris Saint-Germain to join Inter Miami two months ago, things have been very busy for him.
In June, he told Diario Sport and Mundo Deportivo that he was still going to do it:
“I have made up my mind that I am going to Miami.” “I made up my mind to leave Europe.”
He then said, “It’s true that another European team made me an offer, but I didn’t even think about it because my only goal in Europe was to go to Barcelona.”
“I won the World Cup and couldn’t go to Barcelona because of it. It’s time for me to go to MLS to enjoy football differently and my daily life more.”
“Obviously with the same responsibility and desire to win, and to do things well, but with more calm.”
Beckham, on the other hand, recently talked about how happy he was when he signed Messi.
He told The Athletic, “I never thought I’d feel the same way as an owner as I did as a player.”
“When I got the call, I felt like I did when I walked out at Wembley or Old Trafford.”
“I was like, ‘We’ve just beaten all competition to sign the greatest player to ever play our game’.”
