GUNNER DAY: Arsenal star Jurrien Timber issues stark SIX WORD warning to Tottenham ahead of North London Derby

Before this weekend’s North London Derby, Jurrien Timber sent a clear six-word message from Arsenal to rivals Tottenham. Because of a long-term knee injury, the Netherlands international has played the last two Premier League games for Arsenal after a tough first season.

After hurting his knee badly in the first game of last season’s Premier League season, Timber played his first game as an adult again on the last day of the season against Everton. The defender was able to play all of preseason, but Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has been very careful with his minutes because he has a foot problem that is making him less fit.

Ronald Koeman called Timber up to the Dutch team for their recent Nations League games after he did well as an inverted left back. When Nathan Ake got hurt for Manchester City, Timber came on and played the second half of their 2-2 draw with Germany.

Three days before, Timber also came off the bench and played in the last 24 minutes of the 5-2 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina. He also played against Kai Havertz when he came to the Germany game; the defender got into a lot of one-on-one fights with his Arsenal partner.

The message Timber wrote on his Instagram.

As soon as the game was over, Timber sent a message to Havertz and then quickly turned his attention to Tottenham. He posted a picture of himself and Havertz fighting over a ball on Instagram and wrote, “Country foes! Now let’s talk about city foes.

After the fight, Timber and Havertz had a short conversation. This weekend, the two Arsenal players will be back on the same team. It looks like Timber and Havertz will start together again, with Havertz possibly going back to middle since Declan Rice, Mikel Merino, and Martin Odegaard will all be out.

Sunday will be Timber’s first time playing in the North London Derby. However, Havertz had a great start in the away game last season, scoring and setting up a goal in their 3-2 win. Arteta wants to make at least two forced changes, so the Gunners will need both of them to be at their best.
