Lionel Messi will be leading Argentina’s team to the Copa America title defense in the United States this summer.

For this year’s Copa America, Argentina has arrived in Miami with a strange welcome: Sergio Aguero will be there with a group of goats.

Well, supposedly, at least. There are pictures of the Manchester City legend with some goats, but no other Argentinian players can be found. Of course, the whole thing is just a PR stunt put together by the gambling site Stake.com.

The whole thing is a play on the word “GOAT,” which stands for “Greatest Of All Time.” The stake was smart to say “one of the” before Aguero’s name because he played with the better Lionel Messi.

Aguero said, “I played with the GOAT, and it was great to spend the day with more players like him!” Argentina has the chance to become known as one of the best teams of all time if they win the Copa America.

Argentina wants to protect the Copa America title it won in 2021. Angel Di Maria scored the only goal in the final against Brazil, which was Argentina’s first win. For the first game of the season, they will play Canada, Chile, and Peru in the group stage.
