After flying to Paris to cheer on a close friend competing in the Paralympics, Jurgen Klopp is having a great time away from football.
Czyz, a football player for Fortuna Koln, had to have his knee amputated in 2001 due to a severe accident. He met Klopp when he started his rehabilitation, and the two have stayed in contact ever since.
Czyz stated, as reported by The Sun: “I’m very glad to see him. We discuss the Paralympics a lot. He finds it fascinating to watch what others can accomplish and how fierce the rivalry is. He’ll have fun being there, and I’m excited to put on a great show for him.”We can anticipate hearing Klopp yell in the stands because, if there’s one thing we know about him, it’s that he is an outspoken advocate for the causes he cares about. He hopes Czyz, who became a citizen of New Zealand after becoming stranded there during COVID, returns with a medal.
