People have seen that Ben White is on holiday with his family while his old England teammates are at Euro 2024 in Germany. He has two smokes and nicotine pouches with him.

The Arsenal defender most likely would have been in the final squad if he had been eligible. However, Gareth Southgate, the manager of the Three Lions, said in March that the 26-year-old had chosen not to be used.

He didn’t stay home to watch the Euros; instead, White took a quick trip to Ibiza with his parents, wife Milly, and daughter.

There are now pictures of White getting a lot of Pablo smoking bags.

People often think that nicotine pouches are Snus, which you can’t buy in the UK right now. Most people who use Snus get it from places other than the UK.

White was seen out in Ibiza with Milly while his England teammates played in Germany. He was wearing a Louis Vuitton shirt and held hands with Milly.

White was seen in the UK holding a nicotine patch. You can legally buy these patches, and they don’t have any tobacco in them.

Along the streets of Ibiza with his family, White was seen carrying two smokes but not lighting them.

He was talking and drinking white wine with his family on the Spanish island in other pictures.

It was found in May that one in five professional football players used snus, nicotine pouches, or both. The Professional Footballers’ Association paid for the study.

The “first-of-its-kind” study looked at data from 628 male Premier League and English Football League players and 51 female Super League players. It turned out that a lot of the players were using the drug.

Some people are worried that taking both drugs can hurt their health in many ways. One example from the report is that people who smoke can become addicted to nicotine and have “an increased risk of oesophageal and pancreatic cancer compared to nonsmokers.” They can also have problems with their teeth and hearts.

Athletes have also been seen with nicotine pouches in the past, like Jamie Vardy of Leicester City. In 2016, he was seen with a Red Bull and what looked like a tub of chewing tobacco on his way to England training in Chantilly, France.

Vardy wrote in his book that snus helped him calm down.  

White seemed happy as he spent time with his family away from the game. In a few weeks, he will start pre-season training with Arsenal.

While White was on holiday in Ibiza, England beat Serbia 1-0 in their first Euro 2024 game.

In a game where the Three Lions didn’t play very well, Jude Bellingham scored the only goal. Southgate’s team was under more pressure in the second half, which was very tight.

White, on the other hand, is taking it easy before Arsenal’s pre-season training starts in a few weeks.

His wife Milly has been sharing pictures of them on vacation on social media since the end of the Christmas season.

White won’t play for the Three Lions because he reportedly got into a fight with assistant manager Steve Holland in 2022.

Southgate said in March that White did not want to play for the Three Lions right now after hearing from Edu, the sports director at Arsenal. White has four caps for his country.

Declan Rice, who plays for England with White, said in March that he would talk to White when he got back to Arsenal and hoped that White would finally agree to end his absence.

“It’s Ben’s life,” he said. Ben has decided what to do. We can’t stop him from doing what he wants. People will always write things down and say what they think about them.

It’s clear that he doesn’t want to play for England right now, though. What he thinks is the only thing that counts.

He asked White if he was still interested in football while they were in Qatar, which is what reportedly led to the fight.

Someone working for Southgate is said to have asked Kyle Walker about Manchester City’s play from the previous season and then asked White the same thing about Arsenal.

After White was said to have said that, Holland said White didn’t know the answer because he wasn’t interested in football.
