A fight broke out between William Salibay and John McGinn when Arsenal went to Aston Villa.
The two players got into a fight so bad that the judge had to step in and calm things down in the Midlands. Arsenal went on to win 2-0.
The event took place about 10 minutes before halftime, with the score tied 0-0.
Saliba, an Arsenal star, was knocked out after a clash with Ollie Watkins, a Villa star.
But when McGinn picked up the ball and kicked it straight at him, he got very angry.
The angry Frenchman jumped to his feet and charged at his opponent.
Saliba didn’t get his chance to get back at McGinn, though, because Ben White hit him with the ball back.
People on both teams ran to the scene of the crime.
As the crowd grew, stars waved their arms to show that things were about to get out of hand.
It meant that Judge Michael Oliver had to step in quickly.
The referee stepped in to stop things from getting worse on the pitch.
Even though Saliba and McGinn were still shouting, things calmed down very quickly.
The game went on, and both teams made it to halftime without any more problems.
Fans quickly shared their thoughts about what happened online.
Someone said, “Aura for aura.”
“This is football heritage,” said someone else.
Someone wrote, “Love it.”
Someone else asked, “What is going on?”
Leandro Trossard and Thomas Partey scored two goals in the second half to help Arsenal win 2-0.
