GABRIEL JESUS wouldn’t turn the other cheek after being slapped on the behind during Arsenal’s game against Wolves.
The Brazil forward had to bend over to put his right foot back on after being hit.
Yerson Mosquera, a star player for the Wolves, saw his chance and jumped, reaching around to grab Jesus’ behind.
Jesus got mаԀ, as you might expect, and pushed the guard to the ground.
He got a yellow card, which was a bit harsh.
Gunners fans also didn’t like Mosquera or the referee, Jarred Gillett.
Someone else wrote, “The guy is something else…”
“Something needs to be done about the refs in this league,” said a second. “That’s crazy.”
“We all know about refs and VAR…joke,” said a third.
“Welcome back to some of the worst referees in Europe,” yelled a fourth.
To make things worse, Mosquera was lucky to still be on the floor after he had a fight with Kai Havertz earlier.
At first, the German was wrong because he pulled his opponent to the ground.
However, Mosquera’s hands looked like they were around Havertz’s neck while he was lying on the ground, but he quickly took them off so that the officials wouldn’t notice.
Finally, Arsenal won because of Havertz’s header in the first half, and Bukayo Saka’s great effort sealed the win.
Even though the Gunners weren’t great, they did well enough to win in front of their fans.
The next game is next weekend at Aston Villa.
