STAR POWER: Dominik Szoboszlai collaborates with McDonald’s to launch a new dish available ONLY in his homeland, in recognition of his contributions to the Hungary national team

The midfielder for Liverpool and captain of the Hungarian national football team, Dominik Szoboszlai, has inked a multi-year contract with McDonald’s Hungary.

Fans will be able to sample Szoboszlai’s preferred McDonald’s menu during the Szoboszlai Live event on May 30 as a first step in the cooperation. The menu will be open to the public after June 4. The national football player will also assist the local Ronald McDonald Children’s Foundation (Ronald McDonald Gyermeksegély Alapítvány) in its collaboration.

Everybody can have a preferred McDonald’s menu item. That’s the concept behind the 2020 Famous Orders Super Bowl commercial in the United States. Encouraged by the commercial’s popularity, McDonald’s expanded on the concept by letting fans order their favourite celebrity’s dish from the McDonald’s menu.

In Hungary, McDonald’s items will be the first to be served, kicking off the highly successful global initiative there. “Anyone can have a preferred McDonald’s menu, regardless of their level of success or celebrity.

That is the concept behind the Famous Orders marketing from McDonald’s. Having a true worldwide star here at home was a no-brainer when McDonald was organising the local launch. McDonald made the decision to introduce Dominik’s preferred local McDonald’s Favourites campaign, complete with an intriguing and distinctive assortment. With this menu, McDonald hopes to please both visitors and Dominik’s aficionados.

The “Domi Mekis kedvence” menu, which features Dominick’s favourite McDonald’s food, will be complemented by a comprehensive nationwide promotional initiative. “I’ve previously stated on multiple occasions that I naturally relate to McDonald’s.

Following a triumph or accomplishment, McDonald’s was frequently mentioned. Being a partner of such a well-known international business is an amazing feeling and an honour.
