On August 7, Real Madrid concluded their summer tour of the United States with a 2-1 victory over Chelsea in the morning.

Minute ninety-nine: The game is done. The second half does not include injury time. Chelsea loses their second straight game, as Real Madrid wins their opening game of their US tour this summer.

Luka Modric also departed the pitch in minute 83. The Croatian midfielder saw a lot of action this summer while on tour in the United States.

At minute 77, Rudiger and Diaz leave the pitch. Chelsea cannot control the ball, despite Real Madrid’s squad consisting largely of young players.

In minute 66, Real Madrid substituted Rodrygo, Militao, and Vinicius.

In minute 58, Chelsea replaced Sterling and Lavia with Caicedo and Mudryk.

Minute 49: Real Madrid has the answer. Vinicius passes the ball to Diaz, who takes a clever shot that misses.

Minute 47: Lunin stopped a Chelsea player from pushing towards Real Madrid as soon as he entered the pitch.

07:17: The second half has begun. Andriy Lunin replaces Courtois for Real Madrid.

Halftime has arrived! Chelsea is now 2-1 down against Real Madrid. Vazquez and Diaz score for Los Blancos, while Madueke scores for The Blues.

Chelsea’s lead is shortened to 1-2 thanks to Madueke.

Minute 39: Objective! From the left flank, Enzo Fernandez crossed the ball and struck the far post. In order to reduce the score for Chelsea, Madueke leaped high, applied pressure to Fran Garcia, and headed the ball.

Minute 36: Sterling crossed the ball expertly, cutting over Real Madrid’s goal, but his teammates were unable to keep up.

Minute 33: Gusto lost possession of the ball in midfield, but Chelsea’s defender quickly covered him.

Minute 27: A goal! Goal number two goes to Real Madrid. After cutting inside goalkeeper Jorgensen, Diaz sprints down the left wing and scores with a soft finish.

Minute 22: Keeper Jorgensen stops Modric’s shot with his foot.

Minute 19: A successful shot! Lucas Vazquez and Brahim Diaz assisted for Real Madrid’s first goal.

Vazquez’s counterattack shot rolled past custodian Jorgensen even though it was out of reach.

Minute 10: Vincius broke through Chelsea’s defence, but he was unable to score.

Minute 4: Amidst Chelsea’s assault, Sterling had an opportunity to head the ball, but it soared out.

The two new players for Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappe and Endrick, made their public debuts in the summer of 2024. Apart from that, their stories were “quiet,” reminiscent of previous summers, particularly with regard to friends.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti’s team lost both of their games: 1-0 against AC Milan and 1-2 to Barcelona. The only goal was scored by Nico Paz, a teenage player, and not a single star.

But Ancelotti doesn’t seem worried by the European Super Cup matchup with Atalanta in less than ten days. Mbappe is still out, so he has to prepare for a match against Chelsea.

The French striker, who has just returned from vacation with a few other celebrities, will require several days to fully recuperate.

Chelsea, on the other hand, started a new chapter in their history under coach Enzo Maresca by participating in a lot of friendlies. Real Madrid was the opponent for the Blues in their fifth game.

Chelsea participated in four games, with one victory, one tie, and two defeats. Maresca is already concerned about his chances of winning at Stamford Bridge, even though this isn’t the finest team.

After their match against Real Madrid, Chelsea will play a friendly match against Inter Milan. They will then play Man City, who they lost to 2-4 on August 4 in a preseason friendly.
