‘Arne Slot time’: Trent Alexander-Arnold will be offered a huge new contract by Liverpool and will dampen Real Madrid’s transfer interest

Real Madrid is interested in TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD, but he is committed to Liverpool this season.

And the Reds want to sign the skilled 25-year-old to a huge new deal so that he does not go to the Spanish giants.

Real wants to add the versatile England star, who can leave for free next summer, to their Galacticos team, which already has Jude Bellingham, who is also from England.

But SunSport has learned that Alexander-Arnold has talked to the new manager, Arne Slot, and is excited about the new era at Anfield.

Someone with knowledge of the club said, “Trent has already talked to the new manager.”

“This happened before the Euros, and they are talking now.”

“At first, they had a great conversation, but the manager understood that he needed to concentrate on the tournament.”

As with the rest of the team, Trent sees this as a fresh start, and he can not wait to get back to training to set the stage for a successful new season.

“He has definitely agreed to stay for the season, and a huge offer will be made to him to stay longer.”

“Everyone at the club thinks very highly of Trent and will do everything they can to keep him.”

“He’s still got so much more to give.”

A lot of people think Alexander-Arnold will become Liverpool’s leader one day. He helped England make it to the Euros final earlier this month.

The defender became vice-captain of Liverpool in July 2023, when Jordan Henderson left the team.

He played in the Premier League 28 times and scored three goals last year.

Because of how well he played, Gareth Southgate put him in his team for Euro 2024.

He played four times for the team in Germany, and twice he started.

After helping the team beat Serbia and Denmark, he was taken off the field in favor of Kobbie Mainoo and could only make cameos.
