The Swoosh took over Paris this weekend for a special launch event with Jadon Sancho of England and Man Utd to show off their new type of Mercurial shoes.
Nike staged another enormous party in Paris to celebrate the introduction of the Mercurial Superfly 7 and Vapor 13 “New Lights” and “Under The Radar” hues. These boots will make their premiere on Sunday at the Women’s World Cup Final in Lyon, which is located even further south. Fast players from the USA and Holland will be wearing the blue “New Lights” drop to celebrate the start of a new age of Nike speed. But before that, the Swoosh performed a mercurial hit set in Paris.

There was fast-paced football on a blue field, foreign players from both the men’s and women’s games, and the Mercurial being delivered by drone against a beautiful background in Paris’s Nanterre neighborhood. It was the perfect way to end one season and start the next. Jadon Sancho, Caroline Graham of Norway, and Andressa Alves of Brazil played on the field before Nike designers talked about how the new Mercurial project would work.
