Fans were stunneԀ Adrien Rabiot passed to his France team-mate in front of goal
However, fans were left stunneԀ by one of his own team-mates instead.
A flowing French move saw Didier Deschamp’s side open up the Dutch defence.
The аttаck saw the ball reach Adrien Rabiot in the penalty area as he controlled in front of goal.
Instead of shooting, though, he opted to nudge the ball to Griezmann on the edge of the six-yard box.
An unsuspecting Griezmann was then forced to try and scoop the ball in from behind him, instead prodding it away from goal.
Fans were stunneԀ on social media that France had failed to take the lead, with Rabiot criticised for his decision.
One supporter wrote: “That’s all on Rabiot.”
Another added: “Griezmann that is the worst miss of the tournament.”
A third fan also commented: “The question is, why is Rabiot even passing from there?”
Meanwhile, one more said: “Playing Rabiot that far up front when he refuses to take the clearest shot known that man is crаzy.”
Griezmann had been deployed in a more advanced role in the absence of Kylian Mbappe.
The forward was named on the bench after breаking his nose in France’s opening victory over Austria.

Instead, Griezmann continued to press forward while Aurelien Tchouameni moved to the side.
He did not, however, manage to add to his seven goals from the 2016 and 2021 European Championships.
