Cristiano, who is better known as CR7, was born on the Portuguese island of Madeira in February 1985. Hugo, Elma, Katia, and he are his four children. Ronaldo was close with his brothers, who took care of him in every way and let him follow his dream of playing football.

His father named him after Ronald Reagan, the 40th president of the United States, who was in office from 1981 to 1989. Had Ronaldo been poor as a child? Yes, the football player talks about terrible things that happened to him as a child.

He did, however, start working as a city gardener and part-time kit man for a nearby football club, which was Ronnie’s first job in the football world. Ronaldo and his father were close, but because his father was an alcoholic, they never had deep talks.

Start of work

The football star started the Andorinha football academy when he was eight years old. His father worked there as a kit man. He stayed there for two years before moving on to Clube Desportivo Nacional, which is another football school on the island of Madeira. He got a lot of awards and trophies, and his skills on the pitch were very good.
