When it comes to birthday presents, most six-year-olds would be happy to receive a remote-controlled vehicle or a stylish pair of sneakers, but Kai Rooney received a grand surprise.
This past weekend, Manchester United player Wayne and his happy mother Coleen gave their oldest son a miniature golf course for his birthday.

The hugely expensive gift, that might set you back around £7,000 according to MailOnline, was installed into the Rooney’s lavish grounds for Kai.
It would seem that he prefers a slightly different game to his dad Wayne.
Coleen, 29, posted photos of her son’s birthday celebrations and the entertaining gift on Monday. Coleen is expecting her third child in the new year.
Along with a photo of her son, flanked by cardboard cut-outs of himself in front of a mountain of gifts that included footballs and football boots, Coleen wrote: “Happy birthday to our brilliant boy Kai xx”.
Coleen also gave a special mention to her brother Anthony McLoughlin’s company, who were behind the artificial putting green.
“Thank you @UKArtificial you have made a very lucky birthday boy so happy this morn-ing,” she added.
An employee reportedly revealed that the green, which is approximately 30 metres square, was put in over four days.
It was also claimed that other companies charge an estimated £3,000 for an artificial green, but that’s before the labour costs are taken into consideration.
Proud dad Wayne, who is a keen golfer, shared a collage from his son’s birthday as he made the most of his golf clubs on the green while also opening his wrapped gifts in front of his younger brother Klay.
“Happy 6th Birthday to my son Kai,” Wayne captioned the collage on Instagram.
