Maguire made sure to make the most of his last bit of time off by jetting off to Portugal with wife Fern, who he married last year, to soak up the sun.

The couple were pictured enjoying some downtime on the beach as they went for a paddle in the sea.

Maguire, 30, wore black swimming trunks and a cap while holding a grey towel over his shoulders.

Meanwhile, Fern, 28, stunned in a bikini to go with her stylish sunglasses.

After walking along the sand in the Algarve, they went into a bar and happened to see Crouch.

The former Liverpool and Tottenham striker wore jazzy shorts and a shirt as he joined his pal for a drink.

Maguire and Crouch chatted and were seen laughing as they knocked back a pint of cider.
