Rodrygo Goes departed Brazil on Tuesday to join Real Madrid after receiving approval from Pele.

Rodrygo is a highly regarded player, and Pele had a meeting with him to wish him success prior to his transfer to Real Madrid.

“Today has been a very special day,” wrote Rodrygo.

“I was certain King Pele was the greatest person to have ever lived when he bestowed his blessing upon me.”
