Together with Barcelona legend Lionel Messi, Liverpool striker Mo Salah is promoting Pepsi in a new television ad.
Some of the best football players in the world have historically endorsed Pepsi; prior advertisements featured stars like David Beckham, Roberto Carlos, and Carli Lloyd.
Although Salah has been a Pepsi brand ambassador since 2016, his elevation to co-star in a TV commercial is a reflection of his incredible form since joining Liverpool, where he has scored 64 goals in 86 games.

On Monday night, the 30-second commercial was tweeted by Egypt’s international player Salah, along with the hashtag #FORTHELOVEOFIT.
There is only one can of Pepsi remaining in the refrigerator when Messi and Salah arrive at a gas station in the middle of a sandy setting at the beginning of the video.
The two then start challenging each other in a variety of activities and toss a bunch of footballs out of a display unit to see who merits the can.
Following a successful match in which they kicked balls at a sign, into a car that was out of commission, and through moving tires, Messi and Salah are taken aback when a third person shows up slyly to finish the last Pepsi.
Before the two spy a Pepsi truck and start chasing it with their arms waving, Salah shrugs and smiles while Messi shakes his head at this development.
