With Real Madrid since 2018, Vinicius Jr. has won two La Liga titles and the Champions League in 2022.
Scoring in the Champions League final and being called the best player in the world by his childhood hero wasn’t a bad way for Vinicius Jr. to end the 2021–22 season.
The forward for Real Madrid scored in the second half of the Champions League final in Paris against Liverpool. This was his first European prize and his second La Liga title.
He was named to the teams of the season in both the Champions League and La Liga. He was also named the league’s young player of the season.
Neymar, a forward for Paris Saint-Germain and a friend of Vinicius’s in Brazil, apparently didn’t stop there. He told TNT Sports Brazil that the 21-year-old was the best player in the world last season.
His hard work is a big reason for Vinicius’s success this year, but calling it a star year would be unfair to his other seasons. When they paid £38.7 million for him, Real Madrid set a new record for a star under 19 years old. Many people saw how smart he was when he was young.
But things haven’t been easy for him in Spain or anywhere else since he was a child in Rio de Janeiro’s Sao Goncalo area.
A shy and quiet young guy who is very fast on the field. Carlos Eduardo Abrantes said, “On the field, he was free,” but he didn’t say how little he talked.
“Cacau” Abrantes runs the Escolinha de Flamengo in Brazil’s Mutua neighborhood. This is where Vinicius improved his school and sports skills. The top club owns many schools across the country, including this one.
Cacau himself told AS:external-link, “There is a lot of poverty,” which makes a lot of people think he found Vinicius. The government should give this city a lot of money, but it doesn’t get nearly enough.
He began coming to our school when he was six years old. For the first time, when he trained with guys much older than him, he got a lot of attention. He was pretty good against kids nine years old when he was only seven years old.
His parents gave him a lot of presents. In his work life, they are very important.
Vinicius Jr. was born to Fernanda and Vinicius Sr., and his life has been filled with many interesting events. When he was nine years old, “Vini” really wanted to learn futsal, but after his first try, Flamengo told him to try again the next year.
That year, he tried out for Flamengo’s youth team and made it because he liked football more than futsal.
To take care of his family, Vinicius Sr. would need to get a job in Sao Paulo. Fernanda, on the other hand, would walk with Vinicius the 70 kilometers from their area to Ninho do Urubu, which is sometimes called the Wolf’s Nest and is where Flamengo trains.
Vinicius finally played his first game for Flamengo against Atletico Mineiro after moving in with a cousin to be closer to the training site.
Once someone who knows a lot about South American football saw the game and said, “He still had the look of a ball boy who had wandered onto the field in those 10 minutes in the Maracana,”
That was enough for Real Madrid, though, and they signed Vinicius after Brazil won the amazing Under-17 South American Championship. He was named the tournament’s best player and top scorer.
The deal was made for the trade a year ago, in July 2018. He was 16 years old and had only played 17 minutes of senior football before the move.
It was announced that Vinicius would be Real Madrid’s first summer signing four days after the club won La Liga for the first time in five years. This made the deal even more important for Vinicius. He was also the first player the club signed after the transfer ban was lifted.
When Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid for Juventus after nine years, it was a big deal. But by the time Vinicius joined Real a year later, he had already replaced Ronaldo.
When boss Zinedine Zidane first quit, there was a lot of change, and Vinicius was a bright spot in the dark.
Spain’s Guillem Balague told BBC Radio 5 Live in 2018 that “he has brought to the side an electricity, a sharpness and bravery they did not have.”
“He looks like a mix of both Ronaldos,” I said.
Neymar, a scorer for Brazil, said that Vinicius, a player for Real Madrid, was the best player in the world last season.
But there were some problems in his first season. With 31 games, four goals, and eight assists, he helped Barcelona win the league.
After 38 games in all events, Vinicius overcame this problem and helped Madrid win La Liga the following season.
A Brazilian football player named Dani Alves talked to Business Insider and said: Without a doubt, he is one of those players who is naturally good. I got to see him play up close when I played for Brazil’s national team. There is no question that we will soon find out a lot more about him.
It hasn’t been easy for Vinicius to live in Madrid, though. In October 2020, Madrid was down 1-0 to Borussia Monchengladbach in the first half of their Champions League group stage match. However, video footage shows striker Karim Benzema yelling at partner Ferland Mendy, “he is playing against us,” and refusing to pass the ball to Vinicius.

A lot of people were glad that the winner.
Vini has shown that he is mature off the field, even though he won La Liga twice and the Champions League once when he was 22 years old.
“It bothers them a lot more when a black Brazilian winner is happy in Europe.”
Vinicius said this and other strong words the night before his team played Atletico Madrid, a foe from his hometown.
