Recently, ex-Man United captain Roy Keane has mainly made headlines with his harsh criticism of Man City striker Erling Haaland, branding him a ‘League Two player’.
Haaland has not spoken for weeks but has chosen his moment carefully as he appeared in front of the press after scoring four goals against Wolves.
His response was rather brusque: “I don’t really care that much about that man, so that’s all right.”
Keane has a history with the Haalands: he had an infamous beef with Erling’s father Alf-Inge and allegedly injured him on purpose, leading the former Leeds and Man City midfielder to end his career.
Though that scenario is more fantasy than actuality, Keane and the Haalands are obviously still in love.
